| LAFA Sign-Ups |  | | | Registration has begun for the 2011 Little All-American Football Association (LAFA) season. LAFA offers flag football for ages 6 and 7, tackle football for ages 8 thru 12 and cheerleading for all youth ages. For tackle football, there are weight limits for specific ages and divisions. Tackle football practices two days a week (three days a week during the preseason) and games are on Friday nights and Saturdays (and Sundays for flag) at the beautiful turf Kelly Field at the Westtown Complex.

The LAFA preseason starts week before Labor Day and the regular season starts four weeks later. LAFA is a great organization that has been around for 50+ years and was the brainchild of Al Kelly from Kelly’s Sports in 1958. Mr. Kelly’s dream was to take youngsters from playing football in the backyard and establish a supervised program for their benefit. Now 50 plus years later, the league is still going strong and his dream has been realized.
