| 2010 Northern Division Playoff Preview |  | | | The Northern Division playoffs are set to begin with two best-of-three semifinal series starting on Sunday, July 25th. Division champion AppNet Solutions (14-0) takes on The A Team (7-7) in the first series while defending champion Fairways (11-3) meets Belfor Property Restoration (8-6) in the other semifinal.
AppNet Solutions completed their second consecutive undefeated regular season in 2010 and looks to avoid being bounced in the semifinals for the second consecutive year. AppNet is led by the big bat of Sean Calhoon (33-for-42, 36 runs, 28 RBIs, 5 ground rule homers) and the little bat of Kevin Wood (27-for-35, 15 runs, 25 RBIs). The A Team is led by the bats of Ben Mitchell (31-for-45, 24 runs, 29 RBIs, 6 homers) and Dave Carson (27-for-38, 20 runs, 25 RBIs). AppNet won the regular season series two games to none.
Defending champions Fairways looks to defend their title in the 2010 Spring playoffs. The deepest team in the division, the Fairways’ offense offers no rest for any defense they face. Fairways is led by the bats of AJ Welk (20-for-28, 15 runs, 21 RBIs) and Sam Welk (20-for-31, 13 runs, 10 RBIs, 4 doubles). The young guns of Belfor Property Restoration look to upset Fairways, led by mashers Robin Prescott, Justin Cree, Chad Mammarella and Levi Ahlefeld. Fairways took the regular season series two games to none. |
