| | The West Chester Area Sports Association (WCASA) is in the process of installing all-weather, synthetic turf playing surfaces at the WCASA complex. The upgrade to these facilities will provide an even safer, year-round playing surface for the sports leagues and their players Additionally, the installation of these fields will help better utilize natural resources, lower field maintenance costs, improve storm water management and eliminate the need for fertilizers and pesticides that are commonly used to maintain natural grass fields. Upon completion, the new fields will provide for increased access to community sponsored events, such as the Special Olympics, and other outreach wellness programs.
This is a privately funded endeavor, i.e. no tax dollars are being used, and we need your help. Al Kelly, owner of Kellys Sports, who had the vision for and helped fund the fields that we play on, has done it once again, donating a sizable amount for these new fields. We owe Mr. Kelly our gratitude for building the fields that we get so much enjoyment playing on. No better way to show our thanks than by donating money towards his "baby", the Little All-American Football league (L.A.F.A). Whether it’s $10, $20, $50, or more, every little bit helps. These donations are also tax deductible. Ask your empoyers, your neighbors or clients to help as well. There are many program levels that will get their business name out their for thousands of people to see.
